BHCS Kindy Parent Opinion Survey Results Shine for 2024

We are thrilled and humbled to see our families resonate with our Kindergarten’s nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment.

Every year, the Victorian Government invites parents of children attending funded Kindergarten programs to take a parent opinion survey, and the results of our Kinders 2024 Parent Satisfaction Survey have just arrived.

The extraordinary results of our 2024 Survey show that our Kinder has exceeded the median satisfaction level in all surveyed areas, both throughout the state and also amongst local providers. This highlights the deeply positive impact our Kindergarten is having on families and underscores its vital role in the BHCS and wider community.

Our Early Learning Centre provides play-based programs for three- and four-year-olds, designed to nurture each child’s curiosity, creativity, and love of learning.

The survey examines feedback regarding child learning and development, meaningful connections amongst children, the quality of programs being provided, the environment established by educators, and the preparedness of each child as they transition into school.

Some notable results include:

– Survey results show 100% parent satisfaction with their child’s educational experience. This reflects our commitment to valuing each child’s interests, strengths, and voice in shaping a program that is engaging, meaningful, and grounded in play-based learning. Our goal is to help every child flourish, both in Kinder and at home.

– Parents also reported 100% satisfaction with the environment we provide for children to build friendships. We know that when children feel safe, seen, and supported, they naturally form meaningful connections with each other and with their educators. It’s a joy to witness happy children learning, growing, and playing together every day.

– Satisfaction with the transition to school was also rated at 100%. We understand how important it is for children to feel prepared, confident, and secure as they begin their schooling journey. This positive feedback is a testament to the strong partnership between our educators and families, working together to ensure each child experiences a smooth and supported transition into Prep.

At Belgrave Heights Christian School, our desire is to foster a love of learning and a strong sense of belonging in our students — from their early years right through to their final days as seniors students, and these survey results reflect that ongoing focus.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful families for truly seeing and supporting the heart of our Kinder.
