Turning the Sod-14

Breaking Ground on New Senior Learning Centre

In Term 3 of 2025, we officially commenced construction on the new Senior Learning Centre, with a sod-turning ceremony bringing together key partners in the project.

Attendees included John Lehmann, Managing Director of Becon Construction, along with team members Michael Audsley, Jason McCoy, and John Van Der Veen. They were joined by Roberto Merlo and Armani Jenkins from Smith & Tracey Architects.

Representing the school were Principal Peter Cliffe, Business Manager Liz Miko, and Project Manager Tom Denney.

The ceremony marked the start of a collaborative effort to deliver state-of-the-art facilities designed to enhance learning opportunities for senior students. More than just a dedicated study space, this centre is a dynamic environment that fosters independence, collaboration, and academic excellence.

The project is jointly funded by the Australian Government through the Capital Grants Program and the Belgrave Heights Christian School community.

We can’t wait to see this Senior Learning Centre come to life!
