Welcome to Belgrave Heights Christian School!

It is a great privilege to be the Principal of this hidden gem in the hills. As I pass through the gates each morning and catch a glimpse of the magnificent mountain gums and hear the call of the kookaburra ring out across the valley, I am reminded of the goodness of God and his blessing upon the school.

I’ve been in education for 36 years and Principal for 23 of those, yet each day I wake feeling energised, excited and eager to begin a new day. For me, school leadership is a calling and a passion and I’m thankful that the Lord has placed me here.

I believe what we do now echoes beyond time, which gives us an incredible opportunity to invest deeply into the lives of our students and families. At BHCS, we choose to live in light of eternity – acting justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with our God. It is this undergirding spirit of Love that informs all of our interactions and relationships.

Education is about so much more than learning. It is about the transformation of students’ life stories. A chance to take each one on a meaningful journey towards the people that they were designed to be. We are seed planters and caretakers, helping students to appreciate their unique value and flourish both during and after their years here.
