Belgrave Heights Christian School is located in the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria and is a thriving and vibrant educational institution established in 1983 with over 850 students from Kinder-Year 12.

The School’s foundational vision, mission and values, aim to provide a rich Christ-centered education in which to encourage the development and growth of Christian faith in students. All staff support and contribute to this aim. Current Positions Available

We are looking for an Administration Officer (Reception focus) with strong administrative and people skills to join our enthusiastic, close knit office team.

This is a part-time role, 5 days per week during school terms only, with commencement as soon as possible.

The successful applicant will be responsible for greeting all school visitors with a positive and friendly attitude. Additionally, they will provide administrative assistance to our team. Support in our First Aid department may be required in busy periods together with assistance with student attendance.

It is essential that the successful applicant have, or be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines
  • Be experienced and proficient at Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Be a Christian role model and be able to demonstrate an active faith to students and to all people associated with the School
  • Actively support and adhere to the School’s vision, mission and ethos.
  • Have, or be willing to obtain, First Aid qualifications
  • Have, or be willing to obtain, a current Victorian Working with Children Check.

Preferred but not essential:

  • Experience with Synergetic Student Management System or similar
  • Previous reception experience in a School or similar environment

An opportunity has arisen for a highly capable Learning Assistant to join our enthusiastic, close knit Learning Support team. It is an exciting opportunity to work with our Secondary School (Years 7-12) students in the classroom and in extra-curricular activities. This will be a part-time position and we are looking for applicants that are available 4-5 days a week for full school day hours. Employment will be during school terms only.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have capacity to actively engage with students across a variety of year levels.
  • Be a Christian role model to students and to all people associated with the School.
  • Participate in student devotions and provide an example of active Christian faith in response to devotions and other class discussions.
  • Have a current employer Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).
  • Actively support and adhere to the School’s vision, mission and ethos.

 

A Certificate III in Education Support and experience working with at-risk children would be advantageous.

We require CRT staff to assist across the various year levels within our School, from Kinder to Year 12. This will be a flexible, casual position based on the day to day requirements of the School.

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join our team from the start of term 3, 2024. The position available offers an exciting mix of possible subjects and leadership opportunities. The role may be part-time or full-time depending on the applicant.

The successful applicant has the opportunity to be part of our Health, Outdoor Education and Physical Education (HOPE) and Sport teams, as well as our tight-knit VCE-Vocational Major team. The role has a focus on year 11 and 12 but may involve teaching all levels in Secondary, depending on the applicant.

The potential subjects include:

  • VET Sport and Recreation (Year 1) – an exciting program that has room for growth
  • VCE Health and Human Development (Year 11)
  • VCE-VM Personal Development Skills & Work Related Skills (Year 12)
  • Secondary Sport

 

There is also potential for this role to include leadership responsibilities in the area of Secondary Sport Coordination for the right person.
